Twitter Haiku

Sometimes Tweeters tweet
haiku by chance, like scattered
autumn maple leaves.

Here are a few. In
no particular order.
Hope that you like them.

I want to be a Sea Otter,
wrap myself in kelp
and snooze while being rocked
by the motion of the ocean.
@MayaPlass

I want to be dead
and buried in a skeleton
garden, underground.

Waiting / languishing /
a rose / is still a rose / a rose
a rose / still waiting / waiting / waiting ...
@fumanchucat

A lone bird starts singing.
Realises no one else is
and stops.
Suzanne ‏@glittrgirl

Today - wrasse, cup corals
and hermit crabs in
pelican foot shells.
@MayaPlass

Profoundly overcast depopulated streets.
Pigeons lingering vacantly up a leaf-strewn alley,
old garage doors mute & dream-like.
@LRJP

Regen auf schneebedeckte Straßen.
Stille.
Kein Auto fährt,
keine Gassigeher brüllen nach Hunden.
Ist das diese Romantik,
von der alle reden?
@Morbus_Laetitia

(Rain on snowy roofs. Quiet.
No cars.
Nobody calling to a dog.
Is that what you call romantic?)

The birds have vanished down the sky.

Now the last cloud drains away.

We sit together, the mountain and I,

until only the mountain remains.
